Quechup disaster ... the revenge

After I (and lots of more bloggers) got framed by Quechup, a number of influential bloggers linked to my post. An this is the result, my post scores higher in Google then the Quechup site itself:

That's what happens if you mess around with innocent bloggers.

I think you're seeing personalisation at work...

Compare
http://www.google.com/search?q=quechup
and
http://www.google.com/search?q=quechup&pws=0

(&pws=o turns personalisation off)

When I try, quechup site is still first - obviously your own blog scores higher in the image of the world Google presents to you...

You're probably right (yesterday in another situation my post was indeed second too). But second place is probably just as valuable :)

Hey, Bert - you just called me influential ! Wow, I'm all fluttery.

Seriously, it would help if all these blogs would just leave out the linking to quech*p and spell the name differently. That would really sink their pagerank

Any blog with at least one reader is influential :)

I also changed the (one) link I had to Quechup ... but I think it is good to have at least some kind of link to make sure people know what I talk about.
